The 10,000 Roses Café & More officially opened in February 2017 and quickly became one of the most talked-about attractions in Cebu. The concept was inspired by the LED rose garden in Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Seoul, South Korea, which became famous worldwide for its romantic light display.

The café’s recent owner, Mr. Miguel Cho, a Korean national, decided to bring this idea to Cebu and combine it with a relaxing café by the seaside. He wanted to create a space where people could enjoy good food, refreshing drinks, and a unique atmosphere surrounded by thousands of glowing roses.

Since then, the place has attracted both locals and tourists, especially couples and families, making it a popular spot for dates, photography, and even small events. Aside from its beautiful artificial roses that light up at night, visitors also love its location—offering a perfect view of the Mactan Channel and Cebu City skyline.

I visited 10,000 Roses in Cordova, Cebu on a Friday night with my Friends. We wanted a break from the usual and decided on this garden café known for its 10,000 LED-lit fake roses. Honestly, I wasn't too excited about fake flowers, but I thought it would be a nice change of scene. When we got there, the entrance fee was surprisingly cheap—only 20 pesos each, which was way less than I expected.

Walking into the café, I was blown away by how beautiful it was. Even though the roses were plastic, the whole garden felt magical, especially with the perfect weather and our relaxed mood. The place had a calm vibe and we enjoyed just wandering among the glowing flowers, taking photos, and spending time chatting. For me, the best part wasn’t the roses themselves but being there with my family, people who support me no matter what. The experience reminded me that sometimes the real treasure isn't faraway adventures but moments with loved ones close by.
